It’s no secret that EVERY successful business has a set of tools and resources to automate certain tasks, optimize results, boost conversion rates, increase customer acquisition and simply grow the business.
Online marketing is no different.
If you want to have a successful online business then you are going to NEED some of the tools and resources below.
These are tools that I have personally used in the past or continue to use on a daily basis to grow my own business.
Please note that some tools below are free and some are paid.
Domain Name
Your domain name is the URL of your website.
This is what persons will type in there browsers to find your website. For example, the domain for this website is https://www.jamrockcash.com.
To get an affordable domain for your blog/website, I recommend Namecheap.

Website Hosting
This is how your websites will be kept online.
If you have a domain name and no hosting then when someone tries to access your website they will get an error saying page cannot be found. So your hosting is the land on which your domain (the house) resides.
There are a lot of hosting services online but the majority of the SUCK!
I’ve been through several hosting plans (even with some of the big brands) and they totally flopped. I won’t call any names but on several occasions, my websites were down for up to 48 hours.
So after going through several hosting services, here are the ONLY two hosting services I recommend:

WordPress Theme
Now that you have your domain name and hosting, you can install WordPress which is the most popular open-source content management system that allows you to build beautiful websites, blogs, e-commerce stores, marketing funnels, etc.
However, in order for your blog to look stunning and stand out from the crowd, you need a beautiful theme.
There are only two platforms I used to get all my WordPress themes.
The first one is Thrive Themes which this blog uses. Highly customizable and loads pretty fast. The only downside is that it has a bit of a learning curve to getting your blog to look exactly how you want it to.

Landing Page Builder
A landing page is a conversion-focused page on your website. Its job is to get your audience to take a SPECIFIC action.
Unlike your WordPress theme that will have a lot of stuff going on, a landing page will drive your audience through a sales funnel.
You can use a landing page to either collect leads or to create stunning sales pages. The idea is to get persons who are interested in what you have to offer on a mailing list so that you can follow up with them and eventually close the sale.

Thrive Architect is a WordPress plugin that comes with tons of landing page templates as well. The only downside is that there a bit more learning curve to understand how to fully customize your landing pages.
However, it cost a lot less than clickfunnels so if you are on a budget, this may be the best option for you.

Email Marketing
Building an email list is going to be the foundation of your online business. Having a target list of highly responsive subscribers is an asset to your business.
Being able to have a list of targeted subscribers that you can email at any time whether you are promoting your own products or affiliate products is just amazing.
However, you need to use an autoresponder service that is simple to use, and more importantly, have a high deliverability rate.
I’ve used several autoresponders since I’ve been online and now the one that I am using and love is Convertkit.

Keyword Research Tool
Finding the right keywords is essential for you to rank on Google to get targeted traffic to your websites.
Using the right keyword tools can help to make life a whole lot easier. Most of these tools will rank keywords based on how hard it is to rank on the first page. This way you can decide forehand which keywords to target.
One of my favorite tools to use right now us Ubersuggest. And the great thing about this tool is that it’s free!

If you are planning on selling your own products on your website, you are going to need a method to collect payment.
There are a lot of payment processors online but some of them charge an exorbitant amount of processing fees. Those fees can add up and eat into your profits really quickly.

Best Video Creation Software
One of the methods that I recommend on this blog to drive traffic to your website or offers is video marketing. However, most people are scared to be on camera which is understandable.
However, all hope is not lost!
There are quite a number of software programs that you can use to create amazing videos that will capture the attention of your audience and convert them to customers.
